On Sept 16th 2020, Making4.0 participated in the 5th National Furniture Congress, organized by the Polish Chamber of Furniture Manufacturers in cooperation with Intenational Trade Fair in Poznan
This event has become a permanent feature of the Polish furniture industry. This year it was the first opportunity to meet and talk together in the new reality in which we live and which we have to face.
Erasmus Days 2020
Making 4.0 is going to be present on Erasmus Days 2020 Oct 15th-17th with presentation of the Joint Curriculum of the Master Degree of Advanced Technologies and Innovation for Wood-Based Industry through an interactive info-graphic with all Master´s courses.

Project paper entitled “The Challenges of Developing a Validation Protocol for the New Curriculum of Making 4.0: Between Malaysian and European Education Systems” has just been published in International Journal of Innovation, Creativity and Change, 14 (5), pp. 767-786.

4th Meeting of our Erasmus Project Making 4.0 was held online from 15th June to 16th June 2020 beginning at 3:30 Malaysian time. This meeting is supposed to be held in Karlsruhe, Germany. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, this meeting was held online via MS Teams. Two participants from all partner members can attend the meeting. After greeting by coordinator Victoria Bueno from UPCT, following topics were discussed:
– Project progress and workplan overview
– Overview of work progress for WP3
– Quality assurance
– Dissemination and Exploitation
– Financials
Apart from that, current situation of pandemic in EU and Malaysia and supposed actions were discussed and wrapped up in current workplan

Thanks to our partner, TopSolution we are getting free academic license for TopSolid’ Wood 2020 – integrated Design/CAD/CAM software specially developed for furniture and wood production, for use at MY universities and for students.
