Making 4.0 was present on Meeting of Women of the Furniture Industry
Meeting held in Poznan MTP Garden City, Poland, Sept 16th 10-18, under the topic of “Personal Brand – key to success”
On the gathering main point was personal brand building workshop, with presentations of success stories.
DREMA International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industries is a one of the biggest Trade Fair of Wood industry in the EU.
Making 4.0, on Sept 15th, the second day of the DREMA fair, was present at the VI National Furniture Congress “Polish Furniture – Competitive Poland” organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers in cooperation with the MTP Group and Promedia. This year’s motto of the congress was: “DECADE OF CHALLENGES FOR THE POLISH FURNITURE INDUSTRY”.
Prof. Dr. Chin-hua Chia has been promoted to full professor in Mac 2021 at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research focuses on metallic nanomaterials synthesis, with a particular emphasis on the structure control to tailor the properties of the materials in determining their performances for different applications, including wastewater treatment, supercapacitor, and hydrogen production.
Congratulations to Professor Dr. Shahriman Zainal Abidin for his promotion to the post of Professor – Special Grade C (VK7) in the field of Industrial Design effective from 15 April 2021. The promotion letter was presented by the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Professor Dr. Roziah Mohd Janor in her office at the Canseleri Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Building, UiTM Shah Alam in Malaysia.
The online 5th meeting of MAKING 4.0 project which was hosted by Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT), Spain, was organized in two days, 30th Nov- 1st Dec 2020, using MSTeams. The fifth meeting of MAKING 4.0 project was composed of a set of online presentations and discussions, focused on the project execution progress. They were leaded by the European and Malaysian partners, with the UPCT support. Most important topics were current state of course development and planning of the pilot course and its learning outcomes evaluation.
